Collective intelligence applied to healthcare

PATIENT’S NEEDS AND RIGHTS

Respect for the patient’s needs and rights is an essential component of the care model suggested by 4-HSN. It is revealed in the methodology, in the guidance of professional behavior, in the work environment, and especially in the quality control of clinical data. Personalized-DHR ensures secure data flow between all healthcare stakeholders. Take a look at the following key properties of DHR:

PORTABILITY: Personal and clinical data made available in a responsive use, accessible via computer, tablet, or smartphone, in real time and anywhere in the world.

CONFIDENTIALITY: Access to the personalized-DHR is only possible through a unique and non-transferable username and password.

CREDIBILITY: Completion of the patient’s clinical data is performed only by physicians. All events are registered in the timeline module, including the IP of the device used in data uploading.

AUTHENTICITY: Physicians only get access to the patient’s personalized-DHR using an exclusive and non-transferable username and password. All events are registered in the timeline module, including the IP of the device used in data uploading.

INVIOLABILITY: Once published, clinical data can no longer be deleted. New clinical data is always added to the corresponding modules and does not replace what has been previously edited and saved.

AUTONOMY: In a patient-centric care model, it is possible to make any doctor inactive. If the patient no longer wants a particular physician to continue editing in their personalized-DHR, they can turn the physician inactive. The physician who has become inactive will no longer be able to edit in the respective patient’s DHR but will permanently maintain his right of access to the patient’s clinical data until his last intervention, guaranteeing his professional rights.

INTEROPERABILITY: Delivered through an ethically-driven system.
